Time to Take Time Off!

I’ve decided to take a few weeks off from blogging. I plan to keep in touch though, and will be doing my usual commenting on other blogs, and keeping up on Facebook and Twitter.  Mostly, I hope to relax, work on another project, and come back with renewed energy and purpose.

I wish you all a terrific summer, full of joy and good health! See you in the Fall!

  1. Maybe it’s burnout or maybe it’s having to do so much work writing any blog articles. I also decided to take some time off from blog writing after writing only 36 articles. At that time I felt that being the Founder of the Seniorpreneur Project I was too far ahead of the curve regarding what was really happening in Canada. Now I have the time to leisurely comment on other blog articles like this one. In addition, I’m focusing more on the social media, and specifically trying to make some noise regarding some specific topics like lifelong learning, financial literacy and senior entrepreneurship for the benefit of seniors 50+. Good luck on your present hiatus and I hope that you will find the ‘sweet spot’ where you can write and enjoy the benefits of what your writing about and the real impact of your great work.

  2. Enjoy your summer break Diane
Don’t forget to Slip Slop Slap Seek and Slide though!
    What’s that you say?
Slip on a shirt – Slop on the sunscreen – Slap on a hat – Seek the shade – Slide on the sunnies (sunglasses)
Have fun and come back raring to go!!

  3. After blogging for more than 7 years, I seem to be taking many weeks off. It is a challenge to keep going regularly, especially if you’re involved in other writing projects. So I understand the need for a a break.

  4. interesting that somehow your blog format, likes me now…on the other hand, I think I have a lot of catching up to do here…so having you off on a break, must have been serendipity or similar
